The building is located in the Plaza de San Luis, a new and attractive urban space remodeled in 2012 and presided over by the sculpture of the national hero of the War of Independence, Captain Moreno.

Immaculate Triumph

The Triumph of the Immaculate of Antequera was contracted on October 4, 1697 between the sculptor Antonio del Castillo and the community of Capuchin fathers, to occupy the existing esplanade in front of his convent.

Captain Moreno

On June 12, 1792 he entered the army as a distinguished soldier in the Fixed Regiment of Malaga, was assigned to the War of Roussillon, on September 30, 1795 was promoted to Cadet of his regiment, and on April 1, 1799 he was promoted to the rank of Second Lieutenant.

Sculptural group "Homage to the antiqiries"

Monument erected before the walls of the Torre del Asalto, in the Plaza del Carmen in Antequera, and inaugurated on September 24, 2010, the date on which the VI Centenary of the Incorporation of Antequera to the Crown of Castile was commemorated.
