It is one of the most popular desserts in Andalusia. There was a time, in the middle of the last century, when it disappeared from the local cuisine, but in the 70’s it was recovered by the city’s catering establishments, which returned it to the category it deserves, becoming one of the usual sweets on the menu of most restaurants. It is also easy to find it in the confectioneries and in some of the cloistered convents of Antequera.
