Family workshops on prehistory in El Torcal, in which the remains of pottery found in the Cueva del Toro and the studies carried out by the University of La Laguna will be discussed.
- 10:00 a.m. Reception at the Torcal Alto Visitor Center.
- 10:15h Brief presentation on “Ceramics in the Cueva del Toro” and research carried out by the University of La Laguna. In case there are many children’s participants, it will also be complemented with a clay and ceramics workshop.
- 11:30 a.m. Hiking route on foot through the Torcal de Antequera, with interpretive stops along the route. The route to be taken will be to the entrance of the Cueva del Toro. Although for reasons of heritage conservation, it will not be possible to visit the interior of the cavity.
- 14:00h Return to the CV and end of activities.
*Hiking route to the Cueva del Toro (without a visit to the interior): route of 2km to 3km approx., on stony terrain.
