International Water Day

Water is the cause of the karst landscape of Torcal de Antequera, after years of erosion and modelling of the limestone rock. But how is this possible? On the occasion of the celebration of International Water Day, we will travel part of this sea of stone, answering this question and many more.

International Water Day. Turn 1
  • 10:00 a.m.: Reception of participants at the CV Torcal Alto. Brief visit to the CV exhibition.
  • 10:30 a.m.: Departure on foot to show the karst modeling by the action of the water, visiting some typical formations: pylons, natural monument “El Tornillo” and chasms. Route of maximum 1.50km.
  • 12:00 p.m.: Return to the CV Torcal Alto. End of the visit and farewell.

  • 12:30 p.m.: Reception of participants at the CV Torcal Alto. Brief visit to the CV exhibition.
