“El Torcal en Familia” is a guided tour of a family and educational nature, so it is recommended for families with children between 4 and 8 years old. But registration is open to anyone who is interested in this visit.
Shift 1 of “El Torcal en Familia”:
10:00h Reception of participants at the Torcal Alto Visitor Center.
10:15 a.m. (approx.): Start of the hiking route on foot through the Torcal de Antequera. This tour will be adapted to the age of the participants. with a low-medium difficulty, and a variable length of 1 to 3km (depending on the progression of the participants).
11:45 a.m. (approx.): Guided tour of the facilities of the CV Torcal Alto and classroom with remains (fossils, antlers, etc.). Return to the CV Torcal Alto. Guided tour of the facilities of the CV Torcal Alto and classroom with remains (fossils, antlers, etc.).
12:00 p.m. (approx.): End of the activities and farewell.
Turn 2 of “El Torcal en Familia”:
- 12:15 p.m. Reception of participants at the Torcal Alto Visitor Center.
- 12:30 p.m. (approx.): Start of the hiking route on foot through the Torcal de Antequera. This route will be adapted to the age of the participants, with a low-medium difficulty, and a variable length of 1 to 3km (depending on the progression of the participants).
- 2:00 p.m. (approx.): Guided tour of the facilities of the CV Torcal Alto and classroom with remains (fossils, antlers, etc.). Return to the CV Torcal Alto. Guided tour of the facilities of the CV Torcal Alto and classroom with remains (fossils, antlers, etc.).
- 2:30 p.m. (approx.): End of the activities and farewell.
The activity may be suspended if a minimum number of registrations is not reached, weather conditions are not favorable or causes of force majeure. In this case, we will contact the registered participants BY E-MAIL to inform them of the different options.
