Antequera in the comic by Pedro Lobato

Pedro Lobato Mancebo was born in Antequera in 1972. Cartoonist, scriptwriter, writer, illustrator, cartoonist and cover artist. He has collaborated in several digital magazines with short comics, graphic novels and covers. He made his debut with the graphic novel Caminantes. Later, and after numerous self-published comics, he would publish the illustrated novel Óxido, followed by La última ciudad de la luz.

He has taught illustration, drawing and comics at the Museo de Arte de la Diputación (MAD) and at the Casa de la Juventud in his hometown. Also in Antequera he collaborated with a mural and several illustrations in the urban park of the Rojas Perez traffic circle, in a tribute that the city paid to the brave dog Ajax, and made the exhibition. En un lugar de la Mancha… una visión del Quijote”, at the Antonio Montiel Exhibition Hall. He is currently finishing his third illustrated novel, which he combines with different artistic works.
