South Adventure Trail

Sendero Sur was born from the initiative of a group of Antequeranos, prepared and qualified to offer visitors the best of our environment through endless activities related to active tourism at all levels, which can be enjoyed by people of all ages and physical level.

One of our main objectives is the enhancement of the natural resources of the region of Antequera, through the realization of low impact sports, in which a true enhancement of our natural environment is made. In addition, the preservation and conservation of the environment are always present in our activities, in which environmental education and awareness.

Activities:

  • Hiking: Desfiladero de los Gaitanes and El Chorro, Sierra de las Nieves, Grazalema, Arco Calizo Central, Sierra Nevada, Sierra de Tejeda-Almijara-Alhama, Sierras Subbéticas, etc.
  • Climbing: You will receive basic notions of sport climbing and use of the material, which you can test on the climbing routes in the Torcal de Antequera and Valle de Abdalajís.
  • Via Ferrata: Enjoy this style of climbing that is gaining new followers every day, in which you can ascend impressive heights with maximum safety and by yourself.
  • Mountaineering: Initiation, snowshoeing, various ascents, ice climbing, etc.
  • Trekking: High mountain.
  • Cycling: It does not matter if you do not have a bicycle, with our rental service you will have all the necessary material to make the trip safely.
  • BTT: Discover incredible routes in the central area of Andalusia in good company. We provide you with transportation, support car, mechanical assistance and accident insurance.
  • Kayak: Natural Park of the cliffs of Maro and Cerro Gordo.
  • Canyoning: Almanchares, Sima del Diablo, Zarzalones and Buitreras in the province of Malaga, Río Verde, Rinconcillo and Lentejí in Granada, Genilla in Córdoba, Calzadillas in Seville and La Bolera in Jaén.
  • Caving: Cueva del Agua (Archidona), Cueva de la Araña (Mollina), Sima del Chaparro (Torcal), Cueva de la Excéntrico (Igualeja), Cuevas habitadas del Torcal. In addition introductory courses to Caving.
  • Rafting: We offer you several possibilities to practice rafting in Andalusia, on the Génil and Guadalfeo rivers.

  • Horseback Riding: Sendero Sur Aventura organizes different horseback riding routes in Antequera, depending on the level of the rider.
