XLII Urban Race City of El Torcal, El Botijo and XIII Urban Race for Inclusion

Forty-second edition of the Urban Race Ciudad del Torcal El Botijo, and the thirteenth Urban Race for Inclusion

They will begin at 10:15 and 10:00 a.m. respectively, starting and finishing at the Paseo Real.

These are the City of El Torcal Urban Race (sponsored by El Botijo Agua de Andalucía) and the Urban Race for Inclusion, which will celebrate their forty-second and thirteenth anniversary respectively in 2024. Both tests will have the Paseo Real as their starting and finishing point. With regard to the XLII Urban Race City of El Torcal El Botijo, there will be two different tests. The first will take place from 10:15 a.m. and will be aimed at pre-benjamins, benjamines, fry and children, with an approximate route of 1 kilometer. The second will include the rest of the categories (cadets, youth, junior, promises, senior and veterans) with departure scheduled at 10:30 a.m. and a route of 5 kilometers in length, all within the urban area of the city crossing its main streets. As for the XIII Race for Inclusion, three types of tests are proposed. The first of them at 10:00 a.m., being a 500-meter circuit on the Paseo Real for people who move in a wheelchair without autonomy and need to run with a guide, also including children under 10 years of age with any type of disability. The second and third tests will be shared with those that take place within the City of El Torcal Urban Race, starting at 10:15 a.m. (1 kilometer of route) and at 10:30 a.m. (5 kilometers of route). The one at 10:15 a.m. will include people with mild intellectual disability, down and moderate intellectual disability, athletes with mobility deficit and without or limited visual acuity. The one at 10:30 a.m. will be considered an OPEN open open to all types of disabilities.
